Carve Receives Monocle Design Award for Tophane Park Playground
Carve is honoured to be one of the 50 awarded studios that received the prestigious Monocle Design Award 2023 for our project Tophane Park Playground!
“Monocle’s third annual Design Awards are here. It’s a formal recognition of the industry’s finest, from leading architecture and urban planning to graphic design and furniture production. The recipients of the Design Awards are published in the May edition of Monocle magazine.”
For the project, Tophane Park Playground, the curatorial team of Monocle was particularly impressed by Carve’s incorporation of traditional Turkish craftsmanship, local materials, and the skillful integration of stone-carving and wood-carpentry techniques to create a space that involves people and improves the quality of life.
