A Nature-Based Activity Park for All at Egmont Folk High School by LYTT
LYTT Architecture has designed a unique activity park for Egmont Folk High School, an independent residential school focused on inclusive education and community. The project sets new standards for universal design in natural landscapes and is thoughtfully developed to include people with disabilities while also appealing to users of all ages and abilities.
What makes the park stand out is the creation of a natural landscape specifically designed to accommodate all ability levels. Transforming what was previously an open, undeveloped area, the project shapes a harmonious and accessible environment where everyone can participate, connect, and thrive. With trails, training zones, and areas for relaxation, the design ensures that nature’s healing and unifying qualities are available to all.
