Founded in 1959 by Danish architect Henning Larsen, the international design studio works across architecture, landscape, urban design, and interiors. Anchored in its Scandinavian heritage, Henning Larsen’s design are centered around utilizing space for opportunity and impact, keeping people, the environment, and local context at the core.
Henning Larsen views designing the built environment as both a responsibility and a privilege; an undertaking that it approaches with curiosity and compassion. With this design philosophy in mind, the design studio prioritizes research and innovation to approach new methods of design, such as the use of alternative materials like timber.
With more than 600 employees, the Henning Larsen design community is present across studios in eight countries – Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, USA, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.
