Landezine visited Bureau B+B in November 2018. The office is more than 40 years old and it can be called a cradle for landscape architecture offices in the Netherlands. Many of those who worked at B+B started their offices afterwards: Hosper, Michael van Gessel, Karres en Brands, Strootman, Marieke Timmermans, Marti Franch and the list goes on. Their portfolio is a palimpsest of advanced approaches to landscape architecture and planning throughout the past four decades. Gert-Jan Wisse, one of the present directors showed a couple of their current projects and ideas behind them. B+B is today in full swing, producing daring conceptual works both in terms of engineering and narrative.
